Biog:
Heather Haywood started her musical journey with a Band in the Mid Eighties called The Cool-Notes.
The Cool-Notes were one of Britains most successful soul band of the eighties, the band had 12 top 50 hits which 3 of those were in the top 40's. The biggest song to date for the Cool-Notes is a song entitled Spend the Night sung by Heather Haywood, which was a successful pop and dance hit. The other hits are, In your car, Never too young, and My Tune.
Heather has worked with various artist thoughtout her musical career, Those artist range from Whitney Huston, Kate Bush, Kenny G, SOS Band, Rose Royce, Edwin Starr, Chris De Burgh, these are just a few to mention.
Heather still works with the band who are doing a greatest hits album incorporating some new songs.

The people that I look up to in the business are legends mainly because they have laid the foundations for many to follow, these people have been around for generations and some not that long in the business, people such as:
The queen of Soul Aretha Franklin, whom I admire very much for the wonderful songs truly inspiring vocals I grew up on this ladies vocals. Miss Chaka Khan, for the love in her voice the ability to create the emotion in which we all want in our life this she does with her voice, her production skills and her musicianship truly one talented force to respect.
Miss Diana Ross and the supremes for the commerciality in the music that was listened to by all ages colours. The Temptations, Smokie Robinson, The Four Tops and all the Mowtown stars. JAZZ, Ella Fitzgerald, this lady is the first lady of jazz in my books I aspire greatly to her (Thank you for the music).
Sarah Vaughn another jazz queen this lady's vocals ring in your ears. The great late Mr Luther Vandross for all those moments when you need a voice of honey to listen to respect to you.
Sam Cooke, is another musician that I love to listen to truly wonderful. Marvin Gaye, Bob Marley, my favourite I Three, Judy Mowatt, my reggae roots with respect to the inspiration of millions.
The Emotions (the best of my love). Miss Pattie Labelle, I just love this lady, The Sassy salsa Julie Roberts with her latin jazz flavours, My Lady Tina Marie, Miss Mary J Blige.
Talent of today with a touch of yesterday. Beyonce, (Destiny's child), Faith Evans, Jahiem, Teddy Reilly, Lou Rawls & my favourite man Roy Hamilton.
I aspire to all singers as each singer has something that I take note of, I sound like myself, as a singer you need your own recognition!
